Symbolism is an art movement which can be defined as usage of several symbols which have different meaning and symbol different things. Symbolism effects several art branches but mostly it effects literature, painting and music. It occur in19th century but its effects are seen in 20th century. In architecture symbolism is designing and building structures as with symbolic meanings, in poet symbolism is an secret meaning which differentiate from reader to reader. Moreover, music has big role in poet.
He was born in 1821 in Paris. He start to write poem in 1846. His poem is inspiration for a lot of 20th century' poet. His writings are about Paris life and he give importance to close meaning and perfection of form. He is prior of symbolism. Les Fleurs du Mal, Le Spleen de Paris are his best known creations.
